Perhaps not the best known distillery, Dailuaine is nonetheless much sought-after by whisky blenders and drinkers for it's full bodied, rich and flavourful Speyside style. This sherry-finished single cask is no exception, a special whisky which offers ripe orange, fruitcake, cedar spice and a nutty, toasty oak finish.
Casks: Refill Bourbon then finished in refill Oloroso Sherry butt for 31 months
Nose: Honey, nutty with a light hit of spice.
Taste: Subtle smoke, sherry notes and caramel.
Finish: Rich and buttery.
