This Ingelred Whisky has matured for 11 years in casks previously used for Californian red wine. This becomes immediately apparent upon nosing, as the aroma of the red wine shines through, complemented by pleasant notes of oak and apricot. It carries a taste reminiscent of Christmas, with hints of chocolate, dried fruit, and dates. The finish is smooth and lingering, filling the nose with the scent of dried fruits.
