History
Hibiki Blossom Harmony 700ml is a unique blend that is finished in cherry barrels, making it the first Hibiki to be aged in Sakura wood. Each blend of Hibiki represents the harmony of Japanese nature and craftsmanship. It is known as a NAS (No Age Statement) release, which was produced after a shortage of aged casks forced Suntory to make significant changes to their product line. Fans were skeptical at first, but this concern was quickly settled when they took their first sip. Suntory is the oldest whisky-making company in Japan, with origins stretching back to a small shop started in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro, specializing in selling imported wines. Today, it is the country’s largest and most recognizable producer of quality whisky, and of all its products, Hibiki remains the most popular, having been chosen as the best whisky in the world on several occasions.
