As part of Heaven Hill’s inaugural Specialty Barrel Series, this expression explores how Chinquapin Oak—a rare and flavor-rich species of American white oak—transforms the distillery’s signature wheated mashbill into something extraordinary.

Distilled from 52% Corn, 35% Wheat, and 13% Malted Barley, using Beck’s 6225 corn varietal grown by family-run Peterson Farms in Nelson County, Kentucky, this bourbon is fully aged for six years in Chinquapin Oak barrels selected in partnership with Independent Stave Company. The unique oak composition, rich in vanillin, imparts notes of butterscotch, crème brûlée, honeycomb, and toasted nut, layering beautifully over the soft sweetness of the wheated base.

Bottled non-chill filtered at 105 proof, this whiskey delivers a creamy, full-bodied texture with a balance of caramelized sugar, cocoa, and warm baking spice, finishing long with a gentle oak sweetness. The custom 700ml bottle is elegantly embossed with “Family Owned Since 1935,” featuring a distinct jewel-toned label and gold-coin cork insert, symbolizing Heaven Hill’s legacy of innovation and transparency.
