Built in the 1870's, our historic winery tasting room is bonded winery #64 in the state of California and is a great way to experience the origins of wine tasting in Sonoma. While the front of the building now serves as a visitor center, tasting room and gift shop, the back half is still used for its original purpose - a winemaking facility. When you come visit, be sure to check out the antique bell above the door that used to serve as our method of rounding up the vineyard workers stretched all across Rhinefarm.Step inside the oldest structure on our property to sample a pre-selected flight of five estate-driven wines, presented by a dedicated Gun Bun host. Learn about our history, winemaking practices and get friendly with fellow wine enthusiasts.This experience features a guided wine tasting of five current releases and is offered on the half hour. Wines may include Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, our famous Merlot, cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon, winery-exclusive varietals such as Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, and of course, our flagship Vintage Reserve. We reserve the right to add selections at our whim, like seasonal rose9s and our award-winning white wines, Gewfcrztraminer and Chardonnay. Please allow 45 minutes for this tasting.
