Distilled in September 2009, this expression was carefully matured in G&M's own casks with spirit entrusted to them by the Bunnahabhain distillery.
This whisky was aged in a refill sherry hogshead (cask #18600105) for its entire maturation, resulting in 314 bottles released in August 2024, exclusively for the Whisky Explorer Society.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Cured Meat, Demerara sugar and salted lemons.
Palate: Stewed raisin flavours compliment dried bananas, aniseed, and smoke.
Finish: Full finish with lasting bonfire embers and toasted oak.
