A great cask strength Glentauchers-Glenlivet from independent bottler Cadenhead’s bottled as part of the Chairman’s Stock range.
This light style spirit was distilled in 2008 then matured for 16 years in a refill butt before bottling in November 2024 at 59.6% abv.
Interesting aromas of treacle, flaked almonds and root beer are complemented by notes of cola syrup, glacé cherries and strawberry jelly sweets on the palate. A single cask whisky of great character.
