Glenfiddich Unique Solera Reserve Aged 15 Years - Single Malt Scotch Whisky (750ml)

A 15 year old matured in American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and virgin oak. The whisky was then married in a Solera vat. This is a great staple 15 year old from the Glenfiddich distillery. Scotland-Richly layered whisky is matured in 3 types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in a handcrafted Solera vat. Complex aroma with sweet honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits. Smooth, with layers of sherry, cinnamon and ginger. This innovative single malt from Glenfiddich is aged using a special Solera Vatting technique, which is unique to whisky maturation. A 2014/2015 Gold winner at The Scotch Whisky Masters (The Spirits Business Awards).

ABV: 40%

Nose: Sherry, citrus - orange in particular, dry wood. Slight suggestion of smoke?

Palate: Medium, Sherry, raisins. Fruitcake, spices, sweetness.

Finish: Candied fruits, raisins, spices, Christmas pudding, oak takes over.
