Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the world's best-selling single malt and the flagship release from Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside — the producer that pioneered single malt Scotch as an international category in the 1960s. The iconic triangular bottle, still shaped today as it was designed by Hans Schleger in 1957, signals one of the most recognisable whiskies in the world.
Matured for a minimum of 12 years in a combination of American oak and European Oloroso sherry casks, the 12 Year is built around a classic Speyside profile. The nose opens with fresh pear, green apple, and subtle oak. The palate delivers orchard fruit, honey, light vanilla, and a creamy, slightly butterscotched sweetness. The finish is long and mellow, with gentle oak and a final whisper of spice. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is approachable enough for a first Scotch and nuanced enough to keep on the regular rotation.
