GlenAllachie Sinteis Series Part II: 2015
’Sinteis’ meaning ’synthesis’ in Scottish Gaelic is the name given to this series and refers to the merge of two stand out and complementary cask types. Here spirit from rare Scottish virgin oak barrels was married with single malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks.
The resulting whisky is a fusion of dark chocolate, spice and citrus fruit that work in great harmony. Bottled at a cask strength of 58.2% abv with natural colour and no-chill filtration.
