When the new owners received the keys to GlenAllachie, Master Distiller Billy Walker immediately set to work putting his fingerprint on the whisky — Scottish barley, 160-hour fermentation, and slow distillation.
But Billy was a blender for almost 50 years, so it's in the warehouses where he really 'comes into his own.' Working across 16 storehouses with casks dating back to the 1970s, Mr. Walker has selected a limited number of casks to be released as GlenAllachie 18 yo.
This expression has GlenAllachie's signature rich, robust spirit in harmony with heather and butterscotch notes. It's bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtering or added colour.
