Scallywag blended malt is created using the finest Speyside single malt whiskies and then maturing them in second fill Spanish Sherry butts. This is very lively and full of character. A small batch release with the blends of the finest Speyside malts, including those distilled at Mortlach, Macallan & Glenrothes Distilleries with a sweetly spiced warmth.
Nose: Sweetly spiced character woven onto delicious vanilla.
Palate: Sweet stewed fruit, Christmas pudding, dark chocolate and spices.
Finish: A zesty orange finish that features hints of sweet tobacco, cocoa and rich fruit cake.
