The Zafeirakis family has been practicing viticulture in Tyrnavos, in the heart of Thessaly in Central Greece, for more than a century. Christos Zafeirakis — the fourth generation — returned home after studies and stages in Italy to plant his first organic vineyard in 2005, driven by a philosophy of love, knowledge, and respect for tradition. Microcosmos is his single-vineyard Malagousia, grown on old vines in flinty soils at the domaine — a wine that captures the aromatic brilliance and mineral precision that makes Malagousia one of Greece’s most exciting indigenous white varieties.

The 2025 opens with beautiful aromas of stone fruit and citrus blossoms — fresh peach, apricot, and white flowers. On the palate, zippy bright acidity carries the fruit with elegance, balanced by a ripe, mineral character drawn from the flinty soils. Harmonious, fresh, and expressive from first sip to finish.
