There's a precision to William Fèvre's Beauroy that announces itself immediately — white peach, citrus confit, subtle florals and that unmistakable Chablis minerality cutting through every sip. This is Premier Cru from the Troësmes sector of the left bank, where approximately 1.1 hectares of 60-year-old vines dig into clay-limestone soils that give the wine its characteristic tension and depth. The 2024 vintage is an unusually concentrated expression: rich and powerful on the palate, yet precise and fresh in the way only Fèvre's vineyard-focused approach achieves. The finish is bright, persistent, and beautifully defined — the kind that stays with you long after the glass is empty.
Oysters, scallops, lobster, grilled fish, roast poultry, veal, and aged goat cheese. Serve lightly chilled.
93 pts — Vinous: "Rich, dense and powerful… excellent concentration before concluding in a sappy, bright and firm finale. Unusually good example of the climat."
92 pts — Jasper Morris: "Fuller than many from this part of Chablis, without losing elegance. A citrus touch refreshes the finish which is persistent. Drink from 2027–2031."
90–93 pts — Burghound: "Outstanding! White peach and citrus, excellent concentration and a bright, firm finish."
