Expert Review - Vintage 2022

Burghound Allen Meadows 92 Points | A more elegant nose is comprised by notes of ripe red berries, kirsch, spice, violet and a hint of exotic tea. The rich, delicious and vibrant large-bodied flavors are quite generously proportioned while displaying slightly less evident minerality on the lingering if slightly warm finale. This may of course change over time but today the Corton is a bit more interesting, which is usually not the case chez Tollot. We will of course see but for today, the Corton would appear to have more potential.

Winemaker Description 
Bressandes is highly expressive, firm, and powerful thanks to the high limestone content of its soil. Often cited as one of the very best climats on the Corton hill, it shows aromas and flavors of red and blackberry liqueur, earthiness, flowers, and herbs with powerful tannins. Corton-Bressandes will reward long aging in a cool cellar.
