Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2023 is a 100% Chardonnay from the domaine’s nearly three-hectare parcel in Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos. The south-facing site is rooted in rocky Kimmeridgian soil with dense white clay, and the vines average approximately 50 to 60 years of age. The parcel extends from the bottom toward the top of the hill and is divided into three sections that are vinified separately before final blending. Forty percent of the wine is aged in barrel. This organic 2023 white wine is bottled in a 750 mL format at 13% ABV / 26 proof.

The 2023 Les Clos combines the weight expected of its Grand Cru site with purity, balance, and fine definition. Its dry, full-bodied profile carries substantial concentration without losing precision, while the separate vinification of the parcel’s lower, middle, and upper sections allows the final blend to represent the slope as a whole. The mature Chardonnay vines, three-part vinification, final blending, and partial barrel aging shape a structured, seamless wine with a long finish.
