Coming from three sites of the Hermitage (including the cru Les Bessards, the flagship of the estate), this syrah reveals obvious veins of crushed granite and tar that enhance rich and opulent flavors of blackcurrant and licorice jam. Although the tannins are ripe, this young grilled and spicy wine culminates in peppery notes of cloves, dark chocolate and espresso.
