Established in 1985 by legendary vintners Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, Decoy Sonoma has roots which run deep, Decoy Limited editions built from this rich winemaking heritage to produce their tremendous quality wines at remarkable prices. Their wines are ready-upon-release, with expressions of youthful charm and complexity. The ultimate expression of Decoy Chardonnay, this limited edition was crafted using grapes from some of the most acclaimed Sonoma Coast vineyards, including their own estate properties.
Aged in 12 months Sur Lie Aging with 35% New French Oak, this radiant chardonnay displays richness, energy and elegance. With aromas of stone fruit and spice, the palate is supple and creamy with a bright acidity and nectarine, white peach, and summer melon flavors. Hints of french oak, butterscotch and spice carry over into a long and tantalizing finish. For Pairing, the team at CWS suggests roasted salmon or sage-butter chicken.
