Truchard was established in 1973 by Dr. Tony Truchard, is a family-owned winery that spans over 270 acres in the cool-climate Carneros AVA. This area is renowned for its foggy mornings and breezy afternoons, conditions ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir with vibrant acidity and nuanced flavors. The 2017 vintage was produced using the saignée method, where a portion of juice is "bled off" from the Pinot Noir fermentation, resulting in a rosé that captures the grape's delicate character.
