A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, and 4% Merlot, aged for 21 months on the lees in 58% new French oak and 3% in concrete amphora. Sourced from Continuum’s Sage Mountain Vineyard on Pritchard Hill, comprising 42 distinct vineyard blocks planted between 400 and 490 metres in elevation. The views are breathtaking, but the wine is genuinely extraordinary.

Continuum's 2022 Proprietary Red is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Merlot, aged 21 months in 58% new French oak. Attention-grabbing cherries lead the way, although there are darker undertones of plum and black olive, plus hints of dried sage, menthol and tobacco. It's medium- to full-bodied and silky in feel, and the tannins are smooth and harmonious but present, lingering easily on the lengthy finish.

The 2022 Continuum Sage Mountain Vineyard is a vivid, impressive wine. Super-ripe black cherry, mocha, espresso and cloves stain the palate. This is an especially exuberant, flamboyant vintage for Continuum. It's a superb effort for the year.
