This special Pinot Noir celebrates Coeur de Terre's original plantings -- Renelle's Block, Sarah Jane's Block, Abby's Block & Tallulah's Run. Together these four distinct (blocks) of the vineyard create a beautifully balanced wine, representative of the unique site and viticulture philosophy of Coeur de Terre. Each block shines as a reserve, and here they bring their strengths together in perfect harmony.
In the glass, this vintage hints at its depth while reflecting the cooling trend that characterized the last month prior to harvest. On the nose, whispers of wild black cherry, blackberries and spices dance with Pacific NW forest aromatics. On the palate, a gradual build-up of balanced flavors, from dark fruit, spices to fine green tea tannins leads a rounding finish with bright notes. This wine will continue to develop over many years.
