When the law came knocking, he had more than his fair share of rye grain in his possession, and the court wanted answers. And if Clyde couldn't spin a yarn the same way he could make a whiskey, he'd spend a heck of a lot long than 8 month in jail.
Clydes famous whiskey was made on hand-built copper pots, with fresh Alabama spring water and the finest local ingredients - just like it is today. This Straight Rye Whiskey was made in his honor. Aged a minimum of 3 years.
