This years, batch is decidedly lighter towards a pale rose color in the glass. The lighter color belies the tension of this wine with aromas towards ripe raspberry and strawberry. The palate has a crisp nature that calls to mind biting into a pomegranate.
The manual picking of the best grapes only, a careful vinification followed by a long temperature controlled fermentation make this bright red wine lovely fruit on the palate with a pleasant bouquet. Best when served chilled. The Lambrusco Vecchia Modena "Premium" is one of the most representative wines among the Chiarli range. Chiarli cellar, founded in 1860, is the most important Lambrusco DOC producer and a landmark for quality wines of Emilia Romagna region for 150 years.
