The east to southeast-facing vineyard lies on clay-limestone soils. After manual and optical sorting, destemmed berries undergo 15 to 18 days of cold maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by five to six days of alcoholic fermentation. The wine then ages for 18 months in oak, including 40% new barrels. This exact release is one 750 mL bottle at 14% ABV / 28 proof.
