The Wagner Family comes from a long line of grape growers and winemakers, with a history in Napa Valley dating back to the mid-1800s.

It’s been over 45 years since Chuck Wagner, along with his parents, Charlie and Lorna Wagner, founded Caymus Vineyards in Rutherford, Napa Valley. Chuck’s oldest son Charlie is Director of Winemaking for Conundrum, which now includes Conundrum White, Red, Sparkling and Rosé.

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley, California

This Napa Valley gem exudes elegance with a full-bodied texture, offering velvety tannins that are both supple and structured. Hints of vanilla, cedar, and sweet tobacco emerge as the wine breathes, complemented by a whisper of baking spices. The finish is long and luxurious, leaving a lingering impression of dark chocolate and a touch of mineral freshness.

Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon - California

Bonanza red wine features flavors of blueberries and blackberries, vanilla and toasted bread, along with aromas and flavors including cocoa cassis. The nose is nuanced with toasty oak imparting a subtle smoked meat character and a taste of unsweetened chocolate and cassis that mix with the warmth of vanilla. Silky tannins and striking smoothness roll across the mouth. 

Conundrum Red Blend

Sourced from premier California winegrowing regions, Conundrum Red features dark red varietals including Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is rich, complex and approachable. With lush flavors of cherries and baking chocolate, this wine has fine tannins that create a silky smoothness. Be daring and drink Conundrum Red chilled to enhance its fruit profile and enjoy it any time of year.

Sea Sun Pinot Noir

A bountiful deep red, this wine features scents of baked cherries, toasted wood and fresh out of the oven baguette, with hints of cranberry and flinty graphite. On the palate, there is an intensity and creaminess to the fruit, evoking the ripe richness of pie filling. Toasted oak and vanilla add intriguing layers, while grippy tannins create depth and dimension. The finish tapers off with this wine's lush fruit.
