Caffo Solara Orange Liqueur is a traditional orange liqueur produced by the Fratelli Caffo Distillery in Limbadi, Italy. It is made from three varieties of Southern Italian sweet and bitter oranges fortified with brandy. Upon cracking the bottle, you will be met with cascading waves of whole oranges with a touch of nutmeg. The palate brings an explosion of orange oil and candied orange peel along with underlying notes of vanilla and brûléed banana. As a functional cross between a bright triple sec and a confectionary curaçao, with a searing acidity that reveals its citrus nature, this orange liqueur brings flare and class to any number of classic daisy cocktails—from a Sidecar to a Margarita.
