Description: The Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc) has partnered with Buffalo Trace Distillery to produce this batch of Kosher Straight Rye Whiskey. Made from the same high-quality grains as Buffalo Trace's other straight rye whiskeys, this spirit was aged in specially designated Kosher barrels. To address concerns of Jewish ownership during Passover, the barrels were sold to a non-Jewish executive through a ceremony witnessed by a cRc representative. While not Kosher for Passover, this whiskey aged for seven years and was bottled at 94 proof. Prior to bottling, the lines were thoroughly cleaned to ensure no contact with non-Kosher spirits. Released annually after Passover, this bold and robust Straight Rye Whiskey pays tribute to America’s oldest continuously operating distillery.
