Since reopening our distillery in 2001, our aim is to make the most thought-provoking spirits possible. Following decades of commitment to our raw ingredients, pioneering terroir, authenticity, and championing a n all Islay maturation, we have created The Bruichladdich Eighteen.
TASTE PROFILE: Full bodied and beautifully fragrant, honey, butterscotch and citrus orange come through on the palate, with a medley of tropical fruits and mellow oak.
MATURATION PROFILE: This 18 Year Old single malt has matured exclusively on Islay in primarily Bourbon casks. A small number of Sauternes and Port casks a r e vatted with the Bourbon casks for nine months before bottling.
TRANSPARENCY: We believe people deserve to know what is in their whisky, so we publish every detail - from the cask types to the barley varietal.
SECONDARY PACKAGING: The Bruichladdich Wrap is the first of its kind in the whisky industry. Made from fully recyclable paper pulp and molded to the bottle shape, it is the definition of modern luxury - while using less. This reduces our Co2 impact- from creation to transportation.
