Booker's Bourbon Batch 2019-2 "Shiny Barrel"

Booker’s bourbon was the first to release bourbon in small batches in 1992, and they have continued to operate in the same way, releasing only a handful of batches each year. The second batch of 2019, nicknamed “shiny barrel,” is made of barrels that were all stored in the center of their warehouses, the best location for the perfect humidity. The term comes from a time when warehouse workers would siphon off small tastes from the best barrels, leaving them shiny and clean while other barrels nearby remained dusty. The shiny barrels always held the best spirit. It has a lovely dark color and is rich with the vanilla notes that are a signature to Booker’s Bourbon.
