The BODUM Milk Frother heats about 1 cup (300 ml) of milk at a time, perfect for serving yourself or your family. For frothing, use half that amount (190 ml.) because the milk will double in volume as it foams. 

Some electric frothers are difficult to handle because the cord gets in the way. The BODUM milk frother solves that problem with a detachable carafe. Simply lift it off base and carry it to wherever you want to pour your froth or hot milk.

CAUTION: If the frothed milk is not removed and the temperature of the milk get a bit low, the milk frother will start operating again automatically.

Do not use almond milk as the consistency does not allow quick, nonstick frothing.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Switch off at the base with the main switch and remove from the base.
2. Remove the lid and whisk.
3. Rinse both pieces under water.
4. With a non-abrasive sponge and cold water, rinse and wipe the inside of your Bodum Milk Frother clean.
a. CAUTION: The Milk jug is not dishwasher safe and MUST NOT be submerged in water.
5. Dry with a soft cloth. Replace the lid and whisk and safely store away for later use.
