The Le Reserve now is composed of 15 different harvests in between the perpetual cuvee instituted by Mathieu Billecart as he makes his mark on still family owned house. Here is the largest percentage of Pinot Meunier in the non-vintage blends with 43% Meunier from Vallée de la Marne and the southern slopes of Epernay, 29% Chardonnay from the best Crus in Champagne, and 28% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne. Fermented initially in low-temperature stainless steel tanks, it was assembled from 50% reserve wines and 50% ‘base’ 2020 vintage. After 50 months on its lees this was disgorged with a quite low dosage. The nose opens with a nice clean style with just there citrus, yellow plum, and just there rye bread with a sense of minerality. On the palate this has  a bit of fruit mentioned above, with steely acidity and just there dark bread. - D&M TASTING NOTES (MK, May, 2025)

“Lovely aromas of raspberries, gingerbread, toast and honey on the nose. I like the generosity and concentration of flavor on the palate, with a medium body and soft, creamy bubbles. Long finish. 43% meunier, 29% chardonnay and 28% pinot noir, with over 50% reserve wines. Blend of 15 vintages, with percentages based on the 2020 vintage, back to 2006. Delicious now.” - 93 PTS, JAMES SUCKLING (03/2025)

[Previous Blends:]

“Billecart-Salmon's 2019-based Brut Réserve continues the impressive rebirth of this cuvée, showing more focus, length and sapidity than previous versions. The dosage has dropped to 3g/L (from 9g/L in 2016), but the delicious nut oil and brown bread reserve wine depth props up roasted lime and apricot fruit. One to watch. 40% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay.” 92 PTS, TOM HEWSON, DECANTER (10/2023)
