A Fusion of Indian Tradition and Global Craftsmanship

Bhakta 2012 Indian Single Malt Whisky represents a harmonious blend of Indian distilling heritage and innovative finishing techniques. Distilled in 2012 from 100% six-row North Indian malted barley, this whisky matured for over a decade in Goa's tropical climate before being transported to Vermont. There, it underwent a 131-day finishing period in French oak casks that previously held Bhakta's 1982 Armagnac, enhancing its complexity and depth.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Aromas of cardamom, cacao, and fresh sourdough, complemented by tropical fruits and a hint of smoke.

  • Finish: Lengthy and vibrant, featuring marmalade and subtle peat smoke.
