This is an excellent and quite lovely Brunello with aromas of dark dried cherry, tobacco, spice, a bit of turned earth and classic notes of tar. The palate is moderate in weight with power yet tremendous balance, good acid and a flavor set of dried cherry, earth, cinnamon and mixed spices. D&M Tasting NotesThe organic La Torre 2019 Brunello di Montalcino is elegant and tight with floral notes, iris root and a sweet note of cherry confit or crème de cassis. It has a cushiony feel, or bounce, and the wine envelopes the whole palate without pulling too strong in any one direction. Some sweetness carries to the palate.
