This Aultmore 15 year old is a superb single cask Speyside whisky bottled by the highly regarded independent bottler Chorlton Whisky. Matured for nearly 16 years in a refill barrel and bottled at a robust natural cask strength of 58.1% abv, this release showcases the distillery's spirit in a wonderfully pure and expressive style.
Aultmore is often described as one of Speyside's hidden gems, producing a characterful yet elegant spirit with fresh orchard fruits, delicate floral notes and a distinctive grassy freshness. The long maturation in bourbon oak has given a malty and sweet flavour, with maple syrup cut through with lime leaves and spearmint.
Bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration. An excellent example of Chorlton Whisky's talent for selecting characterful single casks.
