The ex-Laphroaig barrel adds an extra layer of medicinal peat influence and coastal smokiness to Ardmore’s naturally earthy and gently peated Highland spirit. The result is a fascinating fusion of mainland peat and Islay character, with layers of campfire smoke, vanilla, citrus oils, maritime salinity, and soft oak sweetness.
