Introduced by Master Blender Joy Spence and rum expert Luca Gargano, Hearts Collection is a very rare and limited collection of 100% pot-still single marque rums from Appleton Estate’s legendary inventory.
Distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2022, aged for 20 tropical years in the climate of Jamaica (63% ABV).
The Hearts Collection, an exclusive limited release of 100% pot still single marque rums, is the untamed essence of Appleton Estate. Each vintage is the heart of the distillates, showcasing the diversity of the Estate’s unique nectars across decades, thanks to its exclusive aged inventory.
Single Proprietary Marque for Each Vintage. Most expert rum makers, including Appleton Estate, blend different marques together to create various expressions seen today. What makes Hearts Collection different from other single-marque rums is that the collection was distilled in a Forsyth Pot Still, aged between 18-37 years – compared to the traditional 10-12-year-old single-marque rums on the market – and each proprietary marque was chosen specifically by Master Blender Joy Spence.
