Peach Brandy Rye — Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey
Allow us to introduce the sixth release of the Cellar Collection series — a Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey finished in peach brandy and toasted oak barrels, standing as the latest emblem of Angel's Envy's ever-evolving craft and its pursuit of what's next.
Distilled between 2014 and 2018, this straight rye was finished in two distinct ways: one portion rested in peach brandy casks, the other in toasted oak barrels, before being blended back together. The result is a layered interplay of fruit, sweetness, and spice. Inspired by the balance between orchard fruit and oak, Angel's Envy's Master Distiller selected these finishing barrels specifically to elevate rye's natural character — resulting in a richer, more expressive profile than a traditionally finished rye.
This sixth edition of the Cellar Collection showcases how thoughtful finishing can transform tradition, bringing a fresh, fruit-forward dimension to the complexity of straight rye whiskey.
Nose: Bright and lively, opening with candied peach and table syrup, accented by gentle baking spices.
Palate: Ripe orchard fruit layered with vanilla cream, while notes of caramel and clove evoke a warm cobbler à la mode.
Finish: Confectionary sweetness transitions into peppery rye, with soft oak and fruit sugar lingering for a balanced, velvety final act.

What makes this different from a standard Angel's Envy Rye?
This is the sixth release in the Cellar Collection, a limited series that experiments with unconventional cask finishes. Unlike Angel's Envy's standard rye, this expression is finished in two separate barrel types — peach brandy casks and toasted oak — then blended together for a richer, fruit-forward flavor profile.
How old is this whiskey?
The rye was distilled between 2014 and 2018, then finished for an additional 15–23 months in peach brandy casks and 6–12 months in toasted oak barrels before blending and bottling.
What does "dual-cask finished" mean?
Rather than finishing the entire batch in one barrel type, the distillate was split into two portions — one aged in peach brandy casks, the other in toasted oak barrels — then blended back together. This creates a more layered, complex flavor than a single-cask finish.
Is this a limited release?
Yes. Total production is capped at 3,000 liters, distributed in 750mL bottles across U.S. markets and Angel's Envy's distillery retail. Once this batch sells out, it will not be reproduced.
What proof is this whiskey, and how should I drink it?
It's bottled at 53.2% ABV (106.4 proof) — higher than standard rye whiskeys. Many collectors enjoy it neat or with a single large ice cube to open up the peach and vanilla notes without diluting the finish.
What's the mash bill?
95% rye and 5% malted barley — a high-rye mash bill that gives this whiskey its signature peppery spice, which balances the sweetness from the peach brandy cask finishing.
When does this release launch?
The 2026 Cellar Collection Peach Brandy Rye launches October 1, 2026.
