Amplify Wines Lightworks vol V 750ml

Lightworks is a wine that has meant so much to us over the years. It is a living tribute to one of our heroes- J Dilla- and a wine that has taught us a lot as winemakers. We started this solera in 2014, and with 2020, we are bringing it to a close. Volume V contains 7 vintages of Merlot grown at Coquelicot, each expressing its own voice, its own representation of a place in different phases of its life. We are so proud of what we have been able to share about this vineyard, about this grape, and about the nature of time, and this final vintage might be the pinnacle. We’ll be moving on to different varieties and vineyards, different explorations with long barrel times and solera aging, but there will never be another Lightworks. Light roast espresso, kalamata olive, Nori wrapper, blueberry, dark chocolate- all this site’s hallmark notes are there, amplified. We only made 65 cases of this last volume, so get it while you can.
