Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2022 is a Napa Valley red assembled from mountain, hillside, and valley-floor vineyards across Atlas Peak, Spring Mountain, Rutherford, and Oak Knoll District. The blend is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon with 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec, and 2% Merlot. Half was fermented in French oak barriques, with half of those barrels new, while the remainder fermented in stainless steel. The wine then aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, 30% new. This vintage is bottled in a 750 mL format at 14.5% ABV / 29 proof.
Alpha Omega describes fresh blackberry, boysenberry, and red currant aromas joined by nutmeg, violets, and fig. The palate is medium-full bodied, with bold blackberry and dark cherry flavors complemented by dark earth, anise, and mocha. Grapes from several Napa Valley sub-appellations give the winery a broad regional palette, while the combination of barrel and stainless-steel fermentation preserves fruit alongside oak-derived structure. Eighteen months of French oak aging completes a Cabernet Sauvignon built around bright dark fruit, savory accents, and a structured profile.
