A stainless-steel-braided EPDM flex hose with 3/8" British Standard Pipe female connections on both ends, one flat-seat and one conical-seat fitting. Rated for espresso machine boiler pressures and temperatures.

INSTALLATION

Moderate difficulty, plumbing work inside the machine; a qualified technician is recommended.

PRO TIPS

• Match the seat type to the fitting: thread the flat-seat end to a flat-face fitting and the conical-seat end to a coned fitting. Connecting them backward is a common cause of a leak even with a brand-new hose.
• Hand-tighten plus about a quarter turn with a wrench is usually enough on the conical side, overtightening can crack the seat.
