10th Street California Coast Blended Whiskey 750mL

Contained within this bottle is an embodiment of the essence of California, reflecting its diverse inhabitants, each contributing uniquely to this region. The tribute to this cultural melting pot commences with two California-crafted single malts — the double gold laureate STR and the gold medalist Distiller’s Cut. These are artfully blended with two remarkable pot-still distilled light whiskies sourced from the vintage Seagram’s plant in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. These light whiskies, distilled to a higher proof, yield a more delicate spirit, providing a blank canvas to be enhanced by blending with the robust flavored single malts. The resultant blend is a unique whisky offering a refreshing taste, ideal as a pre-dinner aperitif (perhaps a Highball?) or even as a complement to a meal.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Pleasant and immediately approachable, greeted with the familiar flavors from American oak cask, stewed stone fruits, vanilla custard, coconut cream, but also uniquely 10th Street, modeling clay, sea air, salinity, cocoa puffs, red pu-ehr tea, the first rain on dry concrete.
Color: Lightly oaked Chardonnay
Palate: Easy to drink, panacotta, light campfire embers, dandelions, and heathered honey.
Finish: Leaves you wanting more with glazed donuts, lime altoid sours, and lingering silky mouthfeel.
